What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a living beverage that is fizzy, refreshing and fermented! It is made from brewed tea and is rich in probiotics, B vitamins, antioxidants, enzymes, and healthy acids. What does all that mean? This ancient elixir can aid in digestion, strengthen the immune system, detoxify the body and promote overall gut health!
How is it made?
Morning Light Kombucha is made with organic black and green teas, organic cane sugar, filtered water and the kombucha culture, also know as a SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony Of Bacteria and Yeast). The tea is fermented for several weeks, during which time the yeast and bacteria work their magic! (more…)
